  1. Mix flour, baking powder and salt. Add maple syrup and mix. Blend beet with hemp milk and add to the dry ingredients. Stir in avocado oil and flax seed. Add cacao and stir. Scoop 1/3 cup of batter onto a pan heated at Med-High heat with coconut oil (or ghee). Cook 3-4 minutes on each side. Serve hot with maple syrup or honey and nut butter if desired.
